Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom - Gerudo Desert Heart Piece

In the midst of a fierce sandstorm in the Gerudo Desert within Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, a shimmering Heart Piece can be spotted amidst the swirling sands.

As the Gerudo Desert is likely the initial main-game area players will explore after the tutorial, there are two primary challenges to overcome: at this stage in her journey, Zelda and Tri are weakened and unable to summon numerous Echoes simultaneously to solve puzzles through sheer force, and there is limited experience in navigating this miniature version of Hyrule.

To continue repairing the fractures threatening the Kingdom, here is what needs to be done!

Similar to most puzzles in Echoes of Wisdom, there are multiple approaches to acquiring this Heart Piece.

The first and most straightforward method involves stacking three beds to create a bridge to the central pillar, then utilizing the enhanced jump from the Swordfighter form obtained in Suthorn Ruins to leap across the final gap.

Prior to constructing the bridge, the Tornando Echo can be used to clear any obstructing cacti.

Completing this task becomes easier later in the game when more beds can be summoned at once or when acquiring equipment that boosts jump height and distance.

However, for those who prefer a more challenging approach, an alternative method exists to bridge the gap between Zelda and the Heart Piece.

By firing a flying Tornando Echo, obtained from the surroundings of the Gerudo Desert, towards the Heart Piece and subsequently launching Tri into the tornado, players can guide Zelda onto the middle pillar by following the tornado’s path.

With the Heart Piece secured, venture to the cliffs above Gerudo Town to discover another!
