Xiaomi 14T Release Date, Price & Specs Rumours
Xiaomi may be most famous in Europe for its high-end phones, but the company’s more budget-friendly options are also worth a look.
In 2023, the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro stood out as prime examples, priced at £549/€549 and £649/€649, respectively, yet offering premium features.
So, what can we anticipate from Xiaomi’s upcoming lineup of mid-range smartphones? There are already numerous rumors circulating about what the Xiaomi 14T series will bring to the table. Here’s everything we know so far.
When will the Xiaomi 14T be released?
There hasn’t been any official announcement regarding the launch date of the Xiaomi 14T series. However, based on previous releases, we can make some educated guesses:
- Xiaomi 11T series – September 2021
- Xiaomi 12T series – October 2022
- Xiaomi 13T series – September 2023
Passionategeekz suggested that Xiaomi planned to unveil the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro on August 23, 2024, but this did not happen.
Considering this, it is highly likely that Xiaomi will launch the 14T series in either September or October 2024, although this has not been confirmed. According to Android Headlines, we can expect two models once again: the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro.
Xiaomi’s T-series phones are typically released in Europe simultaneously with China, so we anticipate a similar pattern this time. The launch should include the UK but exclude the US, as Xiaomi does not sell its hardware in North America.

How much will the Xiaomi 14T cost?
According to the French site Dealabs, the Xiaomi 14T will be priced at €649, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the 14T Pro will offer 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for €899.
For reference, here are the launch prices of the previous models:
As evident, price reductions are as common as increases. If the rumored prices are accurate, both phones will see significant price jumps compared to the Xiaomi 13T series.
What specs and features will the Xiaomi 14T have?
While we don’t expect the Xiaomi 14T series until autumn, there are already key rumors circulating. The primary source of information so far has been Android Headlines, suggesting that the 14T Pro will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70 Ultra set to launch in China. However, since the Redmi has not yet been released, there is still time for differences to emerge in the global version.
If the regular 14T follows the pattern of its predecessors, we can anticipate downgrades in the chipset, cameras, and charging speed compared to the 14T Pro. Here’s what we know and expect to see.
Design
We don’t have much information on the design of the Xiaomi 14T series phones, but we expect them to closely resemble the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, similar to the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13T series.
However, there are likely to be some changes. Hopefully, the highly reflective glass back from the 13T and 13T Pro, which attracts fingerprints and other visible marks, will be replaced with something more practical.

Xiaomi might take a page from Apple and Samsung, who utilized frosted glass on the iPhone 15 and Galaxy S24 series.
As per Passionategeekz, the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will be offered in Titan Blue, Titan Black, Titan Grey, and Lemon Green colors, with the latter exclusive to the Xiaomi 14T.
According to Dealabs, the 14T measures 160.5 x 75.1 x 7.8 mm and weighs 195g, while the Pro measures 160.4 x 75.1 x 8.39 mm and weighs 209g.
Display
Dealabs asserts that both models will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1220×2712 resolution, and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits.
However, a Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station via Weibo suggests that the Xiaomi 14T Pro could achieve an impressive 5000 nits when displaying HDR content, surpassing competitors like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and the OnePlus 12.
The addition of a 1.5K resolution adds to the appeal. Notably, the LTPO panel will be an improvement over previous versions, automatically adjusting between 1 and 144Hz based on usage, unlike the 13T Pro, which can only drop to 30Hz.
Given that the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro share the same displays, it’s likely that the Xiaomi 14T will also inherit the same front panel as its more powerful counterpart.
Performance
Both the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro could come equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300, boasting impressive power efficiency and performance, setting them apart from rivals.
Android Headlines and Digital Chat Station previously reported that the Xiaomi 14T Pro would rely on MediaTek’s top chipset, accompanied by ample memory – 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of storage. With UFS 4.0 memory, it could outperform Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 devices in benchmarks.
