When Will my Samsung Galaxy Phone Get One UI 7?

Many Samsung phone users are eagerly awaiting the update to One UI 7, which brings many improvements and new features. However, not everyone will get it, and you might have to wait months, depending on what Galaxy phone or tablet you own.
Fortunately, while the update initially debuted with the Galaxy S25 series, an official release date has now finally been set for the remaining Galaxy phones and tablets.

When will my Samsung Galaxy phone get One UI 7?
One UI 7 was introduced on 22 January 2025, and at the time, it was available only for the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung has since released three beta versions of the system for the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Galaxy S23 series, Tab S10 series, and A55.
An official stable update for older Galaxy devices has been announced to roll out globally on 7 April. However, it will begin in Korea with other markets to follow in the subsequent days and weeks, though the same date was mentioned in Samsung’s UK press release for One UI 7.
Samsung US has promised to start rolling out One UI 7 to users from 10 April.
Samsung says the update will start “with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, gradually rolling out to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets”.

While the Galaxy S21 series and S22 series as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, Fold 3 and Flip 3, are eligible for One UI 7, they may experience a slight delay in receiving the update compared to newer models.
Samsung’s mid-range devices and some budget-friendly phones may also start receiving the update at a later date. As usual, Samsung prioritises its flagship lineups before extending the update to other models.
Via Tarun Vats, a specialist in Android and Samsung, we can expect the following devices to be updated in April, May and June, respectively.
April: Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Tab S10+/Ultra, S23 series, S24 FE.
May: Z Fold4/Flip4/3, S23 FE, A34, A35, S22/S21 series, Tab S9/S8 series, A16, Quantum4.
June: Tab S9 FE, A53, A33, A25, A24, A15, Quantum3, Jump2/3, Buddy3, Tab A9/A9+, Tab Active4/5, Wide7.
Which Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets will get One UI 7?
Generally, any Galaxy phone or tablet that launched with Android 13 is expected to receive Android 15 (One UI 7), as Samsung guarantees at least two major OS upgrades for almost all of its Android devices.
Additionally, flagship and mid-range models that qualify for four years of OS updates will also be included in the One UI 7 rollout. Since all devices under Samsung’s four-year update policy were released with Android 11 or later, they are eligible for Android 15.
Naturally, all Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets launching in 2025 will ship with One UI 7, including the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, and already launched A26, A36 and A56.

Fortunately, we no longer have to guess, as Samsung has released the official list of Galaxy devices that will receive the One UI 7 update:
Galaxy S Series:
Galaxy Z Series:
Galaxy Tab Series:
Keep in mind, that the list above (although the newest) refers to the rollout in Singapore. The Samsung Global Newsroom and Samsung Newsroom UK don’t mention the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Tab S9 FE series, Galaxy Tab S8 series and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.
While it’s unlikely that these devices won’t receive the update in the UK and US, it’s worth bearing in mind what Samsung has shared (and what it didn’t).
Besides, here’s the rest of the Galaxy devices that are expected to receive the One UI 7 update, but haven’t yet been officially confirmed by Samsung:
Galaxy A Series:
Galaxy M Series:
- Galaxy M55
- Galaxy M54
- Galaxy M53
- Galaxy M35
- Galaxy M34
- Galaxy M33

- Galaxy M14
Galaxy F Series:

The list above is only speculative and not all devices listed may receive the One UI 7 update. Once again, Samsung’s final release schedule could differ depending on factors such as regional testing, software stability, and specific device requirements.
