Former President Trump’s Supporters Rally Against Biden’s “Garbage” Remarks
Attendees of Sunday’s Madison Square Garden rally in support of former President Donald Trump are pushing back against President Biden’s derogatory comments labeling Trump voters as “garbage.” The remark has sparked a surge of enthusiasm among Trump supporters just days before Election Day.
Amid criticism, the White House attempted to downplay Biden’s insult, redirecting the focus to the rally itself. Spokesman Andrew Bates referred to the rhetoric at the rally as “garbage” in an attempt to mitigate the backlash.
During the rally, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made a controversial joke about Puerto Rico, igniting accusations of racism and drawing comparisons to a Nazi rally from left-leaning outlets.
Despite the backlash, Trump supporters remain undeterred and are channeling their outrage into their votes.
Remy Barron, 45, Queens
Remy Barron, a rally attendee, dismissed Biden’s remarks as typical Democratic rhetoric, emphasizing his unwavering support for Trump. He highlighted the need for a change in direction and expressed his frustration with being labeled as “garbage” by the President.
Dorothea Ohlandt, 59, North Carolina
Ohlandt, who attended a Trump rally in North Carolina, criticized Biden’s comments and emphasized the importance of compassion and prayer. She urged Biden to seek a relationship with God and expressed her full support for Trump.
Chris Connelly, 47, Bergen County, New Jersey
Connelly condemned Biden’s remarks, highlighting the inappropriate nature of the President’s comments about a significant portion of the population. He underscored the difference between a comedian making a joke and the President making derogatory statements.
Sergio Gor, 37, Palm Beach, Fla.
Gor criticized the White House for its disdainful attitude towards a large portion of the population. He called out Vice President Harris for her lack of strong condemnation of Biden’s remarks.
Kristina Konrad, 31, of Long Island
Konrad echoed the sentiment of disgust towards Biden’s comments and emphasized the need for a change in leadership. She praised the rally as a positive event and expressed confidence in the upcoming election.
Overall, Trump supporters remain resolute in their support for the former President, viewing Biden’s remarks as a rallying cry to mobilize their votes on Election Day.
