The iconic demonic clown Pennywise, originally from Stephen King’s novel, made his first appearance on the big screen in 1990 in the movie “It.” Nearly two decades later, a new generation of viewers was terrified by the remake, also titled “It” (2017) and its sequel “It Chapter Two” (2019). Both films were incredibly successful, leading HBO to develop a prequel series titled “Welcome to Derry.”

The co-showrunner Jason Fuchs announced the completion of filming in early August 2024, and a sneak peek of the upcoming horror show is now available through a recently released clip.
