Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive have released a new update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II.

The latest “Datavault” update is now live on all platforms, offering additional free content and quality-of-life enhancements to players. Season Pass holders can also enjoy more customization options for their characters.

Here are the highlights of the new update:

New challenges and rewards in the Datavault!

The Datavault is a new Battle-Barge chamber accessible through the Armory. Players can complete Ordeals to earn Research Data, which can be exchanged for Requisition Points and various cosmetics such as pauldron markings, weapon skins (Thunder Hammer, Auto Bolt Rifle), and new armor pieces (breastplate, gauntlet).

New PvP map and enemy in Operations mode

The Eternal War mode introduces the Necron-themed “Tomb” map. Operations mode now features the Tyranid Biovore, a formidable enemy capable of long-range and close-range attacks.

Raven Guard and Salamanders for Season Pass holders

Season Pass owners receive the Raven Guard Cosmetic Pack and the Salamanders Champion Pack, which include new cosmetics and skins for characters and weapons.

New “Absolute” difficulty and quality-of-life improvements

The update introduces the challenging “Absolute” difficulty setting and includes various quality-of-life enhancements such as Crossplay in PvP matches, FOV slider on PC, class perk tweaks, and a currency exchange feature.
