VR Games Showcase Teases 7 Reveals Coming Next Week, Including New Games, Updates & More

A VR Games Showcase is set to begin next week, offering a glimpse at upcoming ‘AAA’ VR games and major updates from studios such as nDreams, Vertigo Games, Schell Games, Flat2VR Studios, and IO Interactive. With at least seven studios teasing their upcoming projects, excitement is building.

Update (August 8th, 2024): Organizers of the Showcase have provided a sneak peek at the announcements from seven major VR studios, including:

– Beyond Frames & Combat Waffle: Unveiling gameplay of Escaping Wonderland, along with updates on Silent North and Grim.

– Fast Travel Games: Announcing a new game and providing updates on internal and publishing projects.

– Flat2VR Studios: Offering a first look at their upcoming projects porting classic games to VR.

– XR Games: Revealing gameplay from HITMAN 3: VR Reloaded for Meta Quest 3.

– nDreams: Sharing updates on ongoing projects and a new publishing title.

– Vertigo Games: Introducing a surprise game announcement from the creators of Arizona Sunshine II and After The Fall.

– Schell Games: Providing updates on Silent Slayer and a glimpse of their future plans.

Original Article (July 10th, 2024): On August 15th, the VR Games Showcase, hosted by VR veteran Jamie Feltham, will feature games for Quest, PSVR 2, and PC VR.

The event will include over 15 titles and announcements, such as gameplay from Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded, updates from Flat2VR Studios, and new titles from Combat Waffle Studios, known for Ghosts of Tabor.

Attendees can expect news from Vertigo Games, nDreams, Schell Games, Fast Travel Games, Beyond Frames, and more studios to be revealed closer to the showcase.

“The announcements have been carefully selected to showcase the best of VR in 2024 and beyond,” says Feltham, mentioning that many titles will also be showcased at Gamescom 2024’s Home of XR megabooth.
