US sues Adobe for hiding termination fees and making it difficult to cancel subscriptions

The U.S. Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against Adobe, accusing the company of deceptive practices related to subscription fees.
According to the DOJ complaint, Adobe allegedly enrolls consumers in a costly subscription plan without clearly disclosing important terms, such as early-termination fees.
The government claims that Adobe makes it difficult for consumers to cancel their subscriptions by hiding fees and using complicated cancellation processes.
Adobe is accused of violating federal consumer protection laws, and the government is seeking various forms of relief, including monetary penalties.
Adobe transitioned to a subscription model in 2012, which has become a significant source of revenue for the company.
