Upcoming VR Multiplayer Survival ‘GRIM’ Looks Like ‘RUST’ on Mars, Trailer Here
During the VR Games Showcase today, Spoonfed Interactive and Combat Waffle Studios, along with publisher Beyond Frames Entertainment, unveiled more details about the upcoming VR multiplayer survival game GRIM.
In Grim, players will find themselves in a harsh red wasteland where survival is a challenging battle against both nature and other players, according to the developers.
“You will need to gather resources, craft tools, and construct your base in order to survive,” they explained.
Set to release on Quest 2/3/Pro and PC VR platforms “soon,” the game’s official reveal trailer gives players a first look at what to expect, drawing comparisons to Rust but with a Martian twist.
The studios have announced that Grim is scheduled to launch a public alpha on both the Horizon Store for Quest and Steam VR later this year.
