Two people dead after rollover near The Pas – Winnipeg

Two individuals tragically lost their lives in a rollover accident near the Pas on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. on Highway 60, approximately 31 kilometers east of Highway 10.

Authorities reported that a vehicle carrying four occupants, en route from Winnipeg to The Pas, veered off the road and overcorrected. This led to the driver losing control of the vehicle, resulting in a rollover.

Tragically, two passengers in the back seat, a 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, were thrown from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver, a 25-year-old woman, and an 18-year-old man in the front passenger seat sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
