Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 appears to be in the works with an announcement scheduled for the 4th of March. The announcement date, written as “03.04.25”, may be a bit confusing for those not accustomed to the American date format, with the countdown set to end at 3PM GMT / 10AM ET / 7AM PT.

The first hint of the upcoming game came from the new Black Ops 6 map, Grind, as reported by Charlie Intel. The map features a skatepark as its main area, along with a skating-themed shop that displays the 03.04.25 date with a THPS style logo on a TV screen.

This same imagery is now featured on the THPS website, with the date and countdown to the announcement.

This news follows ongoing speculations about a sequel to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remake. After the success of the 2020 release, Tony Hawk mentioned plans for a follow-up game, which was later put on hold when Vicarious Visions was absorbed by Blizzard Entertainment and rebranded as Blizzard Albany to work on the Diablo series.

The rumors gained traction recently when skater Tyshawn Jones mentioned in a radio interview that he would be part of an upcoming Tony Hawk game remaster.

It is currently unknown who is developing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. Blizzard Albany could potentially be involved, considering they are still part of the Activision Blizzard structure. Their involvement may depend on their workload following the release of Diablo IV in 2023 and the Vessels of Hatred DLC last year.

Reflecting on THPS 1+2, our review awarded the game a perfect score of 10/10, stating, “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is a lovingly crafted tribute to the series’ golden era. Every aspect of the game has been meticulously restored and upgraded for modern consoles, providing an absolute joy from start to finish. This is a must-have for skateboarders, gamers, and everyone in between.”
