Timberwolves vs. Warriors Game 3 odds, prediction
With Steph Curry sidelined, Steve Kerr was searching in Game 2.
The Warriors’ head coach played 13 players in the first 14 minutes of Thursday night’s game as he looked to replace the scoring punch left empty by his superstar’s absence.
While it didn’t result in a win, Kerr may have found something in a player who’s largely been relegated to the bench through this Golden State playoff run.

Timberwolves vs. Warriors Game 3 betting pick
Though he was recently completely out of Kerr’s rotation, Jonathan Kuminga sparkled off the bench during the 24-point Game 2 blowout loss, scoring a team-high 18 points in just 26 minutes.
Kuminga shot 8-of-11 from the field, making his first eight attempts.
That’s the type of scoring punch the Warriors are going to need when the series heads to the Bay Area on Saturday night after scoring just 15 first-quarter points and 93 total in Game 2.
Kuminga’s points total is sitting at 14.5.
Betting on the NBA?
While he and Kerr have had their differences, the Warriors might have no choice but to let Kuminga loose.
The play: Jonathan Kuminga Over 14.5 points (+100, Caesars Sportsbook)
