Throuple squatted in Atlanta mansion for nearly a year, cops

A throuple had been residing in a luxurious Atlanta mansion for almost a year before being evicted in a dramatic manner, as per authorities.

Bodycam footage recently released by the Fulton County Marshal’s Department depicted officers armed with long guns and body armor conducting a raid on the 15,000 square foot Alpharetta mansion.

Drone footage captured a Jeep and a Ford Mustang parked in the circular driveway behind black gates.

It has now been disclosed that the group of squatters were involved in a romantic relationship, as stated by the Fulton County Marshal’s Office.

Abdurrashiyd York, Pamela Delpiano, and others were listed as the unauthorized occupants in court documents obtained by WSB-TV. Neighbors assumed they were legitimate residents, according to the Marshal’s Office.

The throuple entered the property while JP Morgan was in the foreclosure process. In January, the bank filed legal documents demanding the squatters vacate the premises.

York filed a counterclaim, seeking $50,000 from the bank for alleged home repairs he had carried out.

Upon searching the home, police discovered a deceased dog, with York claiming he was looking for a place to bury it.

The individuals cooperated with law enforcement during the incident, and no arrests were made.

In response to a surge in squatting incidents in Atlanta, Georgia enacted a reform law earlier this year, resulting in the Georgia Squatters Reform Act that streamlined the process for removing illegal occupants from properties.
