The two powerhouse teams will face off earlier this year in the semifinals, with the action starting on Sunday.

Here are three crucial factors for the Liberty to turn the tables on Las Vegas:

1. Length

The Aces will have to contend with the new Liberty starting five, featuring rookie Leonie Fiebich in place of veteran Courtney Vandersloot. Standing at 6-foot-4, Fiebich adds height to the lineup and a stronger defensive presence.

Her ability to guard both forwards and guards could address the backcourt issues the Liberty faced in 2023. Keeping Fiebich on the court to contain the Aces guards and utilize her shooting skills would be a wise move.

2. Anyone but A’ja

The Liberty should make sure that A’ja Wilson faces tough defense on every possession, whether it’s a shot, pass, or rebound.
