There’s a new Honkai game on the way with characters from Star Rail and Impact 3rd, and it sure does look like a Pokemon clone
During a livestream earlier today, HoYoVerse announced a new Honkai game, although it doesn’t have a name yet. The teaser for the game featured characters Kiana and Blade, hinting at a crossover between Impact 3rd and Star Rail. While the teaser only showed a pre-rendered cutscene with no gameplay, it seems to be inspired by games like Pokemon.
Kiana, a main character from Impact 3rd, is seen with a unique dog creature, as is Blade from Star Rail. The teaser suggests a game where characters battle with their creatures, similar to the concept of Pokemon. It is speculated that the game might be named Honkai: Nexus Anima based on registered Twitter accounts.
In addition to the Honkai game, HoYoVerse appears to be exploring other genres as well. Leaks and social media accounts hint at a game similar to Stardew Valley in development. It’s clear that HoYoVerse is aiming to cover a wide range of gaming genres with their upcoming projects.
