The Shadow Syndicate revealed for Xbox Series XS, PS5, Switch 2 and PC

Developer Killasoft has unveiled The Shadow Syndicate, a stealth action game set in 1930’s Brooklyn. The reveal trailer was showcased at the Future Games Show LATAM, offering a glimpse of gameplay and the noir atmosphere expected from a detective game in the 1930s.

The Shadow Syndicate is described as a narrative-driven stealth-action game set in a stylized 1930s Brooklyn. Players take on the role of Sam Marlowe, a retired soldier turned private detective, as he uncovers a city-wide conspiracy involving secret societies, occult forces, and impending darkness. The game blends noir storytelling with supernatural abilities and fast-paced action, allowing players to use the cursed Sacrifice Ring to unleash powerful skills, albeit at a cost. The open city environment is filled with characters, mini-games, and mysteries to explore between missions.

The gameplay involves investigating areas for clues, solving puzzles, interrogating characters, and engaging in gunfights. Combat features bullet time and supernatural abilities like stunning enemies, teleportation, and instant kills, but comes with consequences due to the buildup of a deadly curse. Side quests and activities like bowling, darts, and blackjack are also available in Brooklyn. The game is set to release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, and Switch 2, with a specific launch date yet to be announced.
