The New Apple Product I Want Most Isn’t the iPhone 16 or Watch Series 10

Apple has just concluded its latest launch event, and the iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Series 10 were the highlights for September. However, another new product caught my attention the most.

While many fans were anticipating the reveal of the Apple Watch Ultra 3, it did not happen. Instead, we were introduced to a new colorway of the Ultra 2, and it is this new version that has captured my interest the most.

The new edition comes in Black Titanium and boasts a stunning stealthy satin black finish. The existing Ultra in the natural finish was not unappealing, but it did not excite me as much as this new variant does.

My preference for the black and orange colorway of the Samsung Galaxy Ultra makes this development unsurprising. However, no one was expecting this announcement at today’s keynote event.

The satin finish is achieved through a ‘custom blasting process,’ and Apple states that “the diamond-like carbon physical vapor deposition coating over the grade 5 titanium makes it scratch-resistant and durable.”

Additionally, the back crystal is made from a matching, dark zirconia.

While the material composition may not be of utmost importance to me, the overall look of the Black Titanium Ultra 2 is truly impressive, with the orange Action Button standing out even more in Apple’s high-resolution images.

The Black Titanium Ultra 2 comes paired with updated Trail Loop, Alpine Loop, and Ocean Band straps featuring black hardware, as well as a new Black Titanium Milanese Loop available in Natural or Black Titanium.

Never did I imagine I would desire an Apple Watch Ultra, but here I am… and I believe this is the model James Bond would choose to wear as well.
