The Moebius-looking ecosystem city-builder Synergy gets its 1.0 release later this month

City builders tend to be a stressful genre for me, especially when my virtual bank account starts going into the red. However, every now and then, a game comes along that promises a more calming experience, and Synergy seems to fit that bill. After almost a year in early access, developer Leikir Studio has announced that Synergy will be officially releasing version 1.0 in just two weeks on April 16th.

The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer revealing the release date and giving a glimpse of what players can expect. Additionally, the 1.0 update on Steam will introduce a new campaign with three scenarios to explore, new plants and buildings, challenges related to dry seasons, and an exploration rework. The update also promises “huge Quality of Life improvements” without specifying further details.

Synergy stands out with its Moebius-inspired art style, focusing more on nature and plants rather than traditional city-building themes. Players can immerse themselves in different regions, build communities, and discover the alien world of Synergy. It offers a stress-free simulation experience, which is perfect for those looking for a relaxing gaming session. Interested players can find Synergy on Steam.
