The Maw: what's new in PC games this week?

Unusual signs are prevalent as of late. Chickens are being born with four wings, resembling horrific feathered dragonflies. Cows are bellowing at the sky and producing bile instead of milk. Most disturbing of all, Aldi has discontinued their Village Bakery Seeded Medium Sliced Loaf (400g) and replaced it with the vastly inferior Village Bakery Lightly Seeded Loaf (800g). Amidst the turmoil, the Maw continues to grin, with a few more seeds stuck between its teeth than before. Perhaps the Maw will spit out a single seed, from which a new world can grow, allowing us to escape this cursed existence without Medium Loaves. In the meantime, here are this week’s noteworthy PC game releases.

Starting with Monday, September 2nd, we have the Commandos-style tactics of Sumerian Six, offering a demo that is still accessible at the time of writing. Tuesday, September 3rd introduces Supermassive’s venture into the Dead By Daylight universe with The Casting Of Frank Stone. On Wednesday, September 4th, we can expect the release of roguelite Necroking and Age Of Mythology: Retold. Thursday, September 5th brings immersive sim Corpus Edax and fish-venture Selfloss. Finally, Friday, September 6th arrives with the haunting Soulslike Perennial Order and Ace Attorney Investigations Collection.

Remember, this selection is just a glimpse of the vast array of PC games available, so feel free to share any additional recommendations with the Maw. There’s a blog down there too, you know! Oh, sorry. Liveblog.
