The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy interview 2 with Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi

Niche Gamer had the opportunity to participate in a round table interview with creators Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi about their upcoming game, The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy.

Here is an overview of the previously announced game and highlights from the second interview:

Project Extreme x Despair is here! From the minds behind the Danganronpa and Zero Escape series comes a fresh adventure game!

Takumi Sumino, an ordinary teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, suddenly finds himself in Last Defense Academy after a monster attack. Along with 14 other students, they must protect the school for the next 100 days. The game unfolds with a mix of war and despair as they battle grotesque invaders.

Features

  • 100 Extreme Despair-Filled Endings – Takumi’s decisions shape his fate with unpredictable consequences.
  • Defensive Battles – Engage in SRPG battles to defend the school using each student’s unique Specialist Skills.
  • Free Time & Exploration – Deepen bonds with teammates, explore the surroundings, and craft gifts using found items.

The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy will be available in the west on April 24th for Windows PC (via Steam) and Switch, coinciding with the Japanese release.
