Gran Turismo 7‘s PlayStation 5 Pro update has arrived, bringing enhancements for the mid-gen upgraded console along with new content for the popular racing game. The update includes improved visuals and performance on the PS5 Pro, as well as the addition of five new cars for players to enjoy.

One of the key features for PS5 Pro owners is the support for their new console. The update introduces a mode that combines higher image quality and frame rate performance by utilizing PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) on the PS5 Pro. Additionally, players can now experience ray-traced reflections during races and have the option to prioritize ray tracing or resolution in the display settings, with support for 8K resolution output.

PSVR 2 owners will also benefit from enhanced render quality in VR mode and smoother video playback through reprojection. Along with these improvements, the update includes the addition of the Sophy AI to Trial Mountain and Tokyo Expressway East Clockwise tracks, adjustments to Legend Car prices, and various tweaks and fixes.
