Path of Exile 2 offers six unique classes to choose from at the start of the game, with the ability to specialize in one of two Ascendencies from each class. This gives players a total of 12 Ascendancy classes to explore. However, not all Ascendencies are created equal. 12. Acolyte of Chayula

Acolyte of Chayula, a Monk Ascendency, focuses on Chaos damage and resistance, as well as Spirit and Darkness abilities. While it has some unique skills like Embrace the Darkness, it falls short compared to other Ascendencies in the game.

11. Gemling Legionnaire

Gemling Legionnaire, a Mercenary Ascendency, provides boosts to skills and Skill Gems. While it has potential for future improvements, it currently lags behind other Ascendencies in effectiveness.
