Sure, the Switch 2's Joy-Cons might have leaked, but call me when we know what we'll be able to play on the dang things

It appears that images of some retail-ready Joy-Cons for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 have surfaced online. However, my main focus is on the games rather than the physical appearance of the console.

I am not concerned about the design of the Switch 2 or its size; what matters to me is the gameplay experience. While it’s good to hear rumors about drift-free Joy-Cons, I am more interested in the game titles that will be available. The Switch 2 is expected to be an upgraded version of its predecessor, with some new features and enhancements. With leaks increasing, an official announcement from Nintendo seems imminent, possibly even this week.

Modern hardware is less risky, so I do not anticipate any groundbreaking changes. This leaves us with the most exciting aspect – the games! The larger size of the alleged Joy-Cons hints at a more comfortable gaming experience, which is something to look forward to. Titles like Metroid Prime 4 and a new 3D Mario game are expected, along with the possibility of a new Mario Kart installment. The hardware upgrades will enhance the gaming experience, making the upcoming titles even more enjoyable.

As we eagerly await the official announcement, let’s focus on the exciting games that will be available on the Switch 2. The hardware upgrades will simply enhance the gaming experience, so let’s stay patient and look forward to the official reveal.
