SteelSeries, a prominent player in the world of PC gaming and eSports peripherals, is set to join forces with the GN Group, a leading provider of intelligent hearing, audio, and video collaboration solutions. The CEO of SteelSeries expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating that it will propel the company’s growth. Fans can rest assured that SteelSeries will continue to operate as an independent business unit within GN.

While the GN Group may not be a household name for many, this Danish company has a rich history spanning 150 years. With brands like ReSound, Beltone, Interton, Jabra, BlueParrott, and FalCom under its umbrella, GN Group focuses on delivering innovative solutions to help people “Hear More, Do More, and Be More.” GN Group’s CEO, René Svendsen-Tune, praised SteelSeries for its exceptional products and expressed confidence in their collaboration leading to industry-defining innovation.

SteelSeries, boasting over two decades of experience, has made a name for itself in the eSports and gaming industry with top-notch products and software. Ehtisham Rabbani, the CEO of SteelSeries, emphasized that the company’s existing leadership and organizational structure will remain intact as they operate as an independent business unit under GN Group. GN Group will acquire SteelSeries for approximately US$1.2 billion, pending regulatory approval, with the deal expected to be finalized next year. The last SteelSeries product reviewed on Bit-Tech, the SteelSeries Arctis Pro +GameDAC, received an ‘Exceptional’ rating.
