Spider-Man 2 swings onto PC in January 2025

Sony has officially announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released on PC on January 20, 2025. The game will be available for purchase on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Developed by Nixxes in collaboration with Insomniac, the PC version of the game will come with a range of PC-specific features, in line with the previous work of the dedicated porting team. These features are expected to include mouse and keyboard controls, support for ultra-widescreen displays, enhanced ray-tracing options, and more.

Compared to the PC ports of Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales in 2022, the system requirements for Spider-Man 2 are expected to see a significant increase. Unlike its predecessors, Spider-Man 2 is a full PS5 game that takes advantage of the console’s capabilities, such as the Web Wings for faster travel around the city.

Furthermore, the PC version of Spider-Man 2 will include all the updates that were added to the original PS5 release post-launch, including new suits, New Game+ mode, Ultimate Levels, and enhanced photo mode features.

Despite the lack of additional story content for Spider-Man 2, the game is expected to be a popular choice among PC gamers, following its success on the PS5 platform.
