Slumping Winnipeg Jets fall to Blues 4-1 for 4th straight loss – Winnipeg
After a tremendous start to the season, the Winnipeg Jets are now struggling in the NHL.
Coming back from a six-game road trip, Winnipeg suffered a 4-1 loss to the Blues on Tuesday night, marking their fourth consecutive loss and seventh in their last ten games.
The first period was uneventful with no goals or penalties, as Winnipeg outshot the Blues 8-6.
Early in the second period, St. Louis had a close opportunity to score, but the Jets defense managed to clear the puck off the goal line.
Despite a power play opportunity for St. Louis, they failed to convert. The Jets also had a chance on the man advantage but couldn’t register a shot on goal.
Another power play for the Jets was short-lived as they were soon playing 4-on-4 hockey, which the Blues capitalized on.
