See the teaser trailer for Fumito Ueda’s next game – Shadow of the Gundam?
During The Game Awards, genDesign, the studio founded by Fumito Ueda, known for creating iconic games like ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian, unveiled their next project.
The game, which remains unnamed at this point, seems to carry the same artistic tone and emotional depth that Ueda is known for, but with a sci-fi twist.
Set in a world where an ominous message urges people to evacuate the area around ground zero, followed by a countdown to a catastrophic event, players embark on a hurried climb up a colossal body, eventually reaching a giant mech head that detaches just in time before a violent storm hits.
While details are scarce at the moment, it’s exciting to see the creators of some of the most beloved games from the PlayStation 2 and 3 eras working on a new and unique project.
