Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra Could Become the Lightest Luxury Phone
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumored to be the lightest luxury smartphone in comparison to its predecessors and competitors. According to Neowin, it will weigh less than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which currently weighs 221g. This marks a significant weight reduction from the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which weighs 232g.
There are speculations that the upcoming luxury model in the Galaxy S25 series may not be named Ultra, as Samsung is rumored to have plans for a name change for the Galaxy S25 lineup.
Neowin also reports that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be the thinnest Ultra model from Samsung in recent years, with a thickness of 8.4mm compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 8.6mm. If true, this would make the Galaxy S25 Ultra the thinnest Ultra model since the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra launched in 2020.
Additionally, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to have corners as rounded as the Galaxy Note 7.
