Sam Dickinson enters Knights’ record books as Windsor ends London’s winning streak – London

On March 16, 2025, the Windsor Spitfires secured an 8-5 victory over the London Knights at the WFCU Centre, fueled by five second-period goals.
This win snapped the Knights’ seven-game winning streak but continued the trend of the home team winning every game in the regular season series between these two clubs.
The final matchup between London and the Spitfires is scheduled for March 21 at Canada Life Place.
London’s defenceman Sam Dickinson made a mark by recording two assists, tying with Evan Bouchard and Rick Corriveau for the most points in a single season by a London defenceman at 87.
During the game, a standout moment occurred when Windsor’s Easton Cowan scored the opening goal, extending his point streak to nine games and helping Dickinson reach 86 points for the season, tying him with Nick Stajduhar for the second-best offensive season by a London defenceman.
The goal led to Windsor’s goalie Joey Costanzo briefly being pulled from the game by coach Greg Walters. Carter Froggett briefly replaced Costanzo before he was sent back into the crease.

Although London fought back with goals from Cowan and Jacob Julien, Windsor secured the win with goals from Davis, Conor Walton, and Noah Morneau.
The Spitfires outshot the Knights 36-22, with both teams converting one out of four power play opportunities.
Two streaks stay alive

29 – Easton Cowan
15 – Jacob Julien
14 – Blake Montgomery
13 – Sam Dickinson
11 – Kasper Halttunen
