Rematch is a football game from the makers of Kung Fu brawler Sifu

Sloclap has unveiled a new game called Rematch, which combines the animation style and martial arts expertise developed during the creation of Sifu to create an online football game!

Unlike traditional 11v11 football games, Rematch is a 5v5 game with elements reminiscent of Rocket League. The trailer provides a glimpse into the game:

“Rematch offers a unique approach to football with immersive third-person action, skill-based gameplay, and intense online competition. Join forces with your friends to tackle, dribble, aim, and shoot your way to victory in fast-paced 5v5 matches where every move counts.”

Rematch is set to be released in the summer of 2025 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Players can participate in pre-release beta tests to get a sneak peek at the game before its official launch.
