Live translation, which was initially available in Early Access in select countries, is now rolling out to all users. This feature allows for seamless conversations in English, French, Italian, and Spanish without the need for network connectivity.

As long as you have downloaded the necessary language pack beforehand, you can hear the other person in your chosen language in real time. Simultaneously, they can see your words translated into their language on your phone.

New messaging and music options

A new feature allows users to send messages, photos, audio calls, and video calls through Instagram from their Ray-Ban Meta glasses using a natural “Hey Meta” command.

Additionally, users can already make calls and send messages through WhatsApp and Messenger, as well as send text messages.

Access to music apps is expanding beyond the US and Canada to include Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Shazam. Users can simply ask Meta AI to start playing music or provide information about the current track.

Upcoming features include the ability for Meta AI to see what the user sees, enabling conversations about objects in front of them. This feature will initially be available in the US and Canada, with plans to expand to more regions.
