What actually is PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium?

The PlayStation Plus relaunch took place globally in June 2022, introducing a three-tiered subscription service that includes and expands on what was previously offered by PlayStation Now. The classic PS Plus is now known as PS Plus Essential, providing access to online multiplayer gaming, cloud save backups, exclusive offers, and a minimum of 2 free games each month. PS Plus Extra offers a library of PS4 and PS5 games, while PS Plus Deluxe and Premium (depending on region) include older PS2, PS1, and PSP game emulation, as well as game streaming for PS3 and other titles.
