Pickup truck driver accused of cutting off 'old lady' during Palisades Fire smiles after being confronted

A pickup truck driver was captured on video smiling after being confronted for allegedly cutting off an elderly woman in a long line of cars in the Palisades Fire zone.

Nick Clark, an independent creative director in Los Angeles, shared the video of the incident with the impatient driver on his Instagram.

The driver, in a silver Chevy Silverado, was called out by Clark in the video.

Clark approaches the driver, filming him as he smirks in response to being called out.

The driver initially remains silent as Clark confronts him.

“The officers have your Silverado clocked and they’re not going to let you in,” Clark tells the driver.

The driver responds, “Good luck. Have a wonderful day.”

Clark sarcastically replies, “You have a wonderful day,” before asking the driver if he wants to share his name on video.

The driver challenges Clark, asking if he has never cut anyone off in LA.

Clark expresses his disapproval of the driver’s actions before the video ends.

Clark explained in the video’s caption that the driver attempted to cut off the elderly woman while they were waiting in line to return to their homes in the Palisades Fire zone.

Clark called out the driver before filming the altercation, and he later asked the public for help in identifying the man.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna reported that around 150,000 people in the county were under evacuation orders due to the wildfires.
