Palworld announces December 2024 major update, will add island 6x the size of Sakurajima
Developer Pocket Pair has announced a significant new update for Palworld, introducing an island that is six times larger than their previous Sakurajima update.
The upcoming update for this open-world survival crafting and monster-collecting game is set to launch in December and promises to offer a vast new playing area.

About the Major Update
The new mysterious island is the largest and most challenging in Palworld’s history. It is six times bigger than Sakurajima and will feature powerful tower bosses and new species of Pals.
The update will also introduce a wealth of new content, with teasers being revealed on the Palworld Youtube channel and official social media leading up to the release.
Furthermore, Palworld is currently available at a discounted price of 25% off during the Steam Autumn Sale.
Collaboration with Terraria!
A collaboration with the popular adventure game Terraria, known for selling over 60 million copies worldwide, has been confirmed for 2025. Stay tuned for more updates!
Palworld was initially launched in January 2024 for Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The game has also been part of Xbox Game Pass since its release.
