OnePlus Watch 3 Revealed With Galaxy Watch Ultra-beating Battery Life

After the release of the OnePlus 13 and 13R in January, OnePlus has officially announced the upcoming launch of the highly anticipated OnePlus Watch 3. The new watch promises exciting upgrades in design, functionality, and battery performance.

While the pricing details are yet to be revealed, the OnePlus Watch 3 will be hitting the markets in North America and Europe, including the UK, starting on 18 February 2025.

According to TechRadar, the OnePlus Watch 3 will feature Wear OS 5 and a secondary OS, boasting an impressive 120-hour battery life which surpasses competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra.

This extended battery life is made possible by a dual-chipset system that combines the Snapdragon W5 and BES2800 MCU, intelligently switching between high-power Wear OS 5 and low-power Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) to optimize energy consumption.

Celina Shi, OnePlus Europe’s CMO, emphasized the larger 631mAh Silicon NanoStack Battery in the OnePlus Watch 3, an upgrade from the previous model’s 500mAh cell. This enhancement ensures higher energy density and longer power retention, potentially improving sleep tracking capabilities for users.

In terms of design, the OnePlus Watch 3 introduces a titanium bezel, replacing the stainless steel of its predecessor, and a durable sapphire crystal face. The addition of a new rotating digital crown, similar to the latest Apple Watch Series 10, offers smoother navigation. The watch will be available in two stylish colors, Obsidian Titanium (black) and Emerald Titanium (green).

Although details about fitness features are still under wraps, the rugged build of the OnePlus Watch 3 suggests that it will cater to adventure seekers and fitness enthusiasts, promising durability for any activity.
