On the Beach is out this June| TheSixthAxis

There is still much mystery surrounding Death Stranding 2 despite the release of over forty minutes of trailers, each revealing new elements of the game. The latest trailer, announcing a launch date of June 26th, 2025 for PlayStation 5, opens with a shocking conversation.
We are given a glimpse into the backstory, detailing the events that have transpired since the last game, including humanity’s reconnection (which proves to be a disastrous decision) and the introduction of automated deliveries, rendering Sam’s role as a postman obsolete. This time, Sam must contend with a rising cult and the care of Baby Lou. Kojima’s signature needle drops are present in the trailer, featuring the haunting song “Too the Wilder” by Woodkid.
The trailer showcases new Tar enemies, locations, characters, and exciting motorcycle battles. Tentacles feature prominently, in unexpected places. Unfortunately, there is no confirmation of Little Norman’s appearance in the game.
Previous trailers show Fragile, Rainy, and Tomorrow posing with white grub plush toys, modeling jackets, and dancing on vehicles from the game. The video then transitions to footage from a previous trailer, followed by new scenes featuring Baby Lou and a religious ceremony, as well as Fragile rescuing Lou from danger. The DHV Megellan is shown, with the project being funded by a private company, APAC. The final shot reveals Baby Lou’s pod with octopus tentacles.
The game will launch with a Digital Deluxe Edition priced $10 above the standard $69.99, offering in-game bonus items. The Collector’s Edition, priced at $230, includes a statue.
