NVIDIA Announces GeForce Now Cloud Gaming Support for Quest 3/S, Vision Pro & Pico Headsets

NVIDIA Expands GeForce NOW Support to Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3, and Pico Headsets

During CES 2025, NVIDIA made a significant announcement regarding the extension of support for its cloud gaming platform, GeForce NOW, to additional devices. The platform will now be accessible on Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest 3, and 3S, as well as Pico headsets.

It’s important to note that this expansion does not currently include support for VR cloud gaming. Instead, users will have the ability to play standard games on various platforms such as Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and handheld gaming devices.

According to Nvidia, users on Vision Pro, Quest 3/S, and Pico headsets will be able to stream games via GeForce NOW through browsers once the version 2.0.70 update is rolled out later this month.

When the update is implemented, users can expect to access all the advanced features of NVIDIA technologies, including ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS. GeForce NOW for VR headsets will also offer support for gamepad-compatible titles on a large virtual screen.

Notably, Nvidia’s cloud gaming service provides users with limited free access, as well as higher-quality access through daily passes and monthly subscription options. The platform boasts an extensive library of over 2,000 titles for users to enjoy.

While Nvidia is not the first to offer cloud gaming for standalone VR devices, with Pluto VR introducing PlutoSphere to Quest in 2022, the service was later removed from the store in 2024. Microsoft was subsequently granted permission to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming and Game Pass library to Quest in late 2023.
