Noida International Airport partners with Kyndryl for technology operations, BA

Noida International Airport (NIA) has entered into a strategic collaboration with Kyndryl, the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, to manage its advanced technology operations and ensure round-the-clock support. This partnership builds upon Kyndryl’s more than 30 years of expertise in managing complex technology environments for airports and airlines globally, including in India.
As a greenfield airport, NIA is focused on creating a memorable passenger experience, with technology playing a central role in achieving this vision. Kyndryl will work with NIA to develop a comprehensive IT foundation. This includes evaluating the existing architecture, establishing robust governance frameworks, and implementing security services, risk management practices, and audit compliance measures to support operational excellence.
A key element of the partnership is Kyndryl Bridge, an AI-driven integration platform that will automate NIA’s IT infrastructure. Kyndryl Bridge will provide real-time monitoring of system health and performance, helping detect and resolve issues proactively to minimise disruptions. Additionally, Kyndryl will strengthen NIA’s cybersecurity posture by implementing first response systems, security policy management, and continuous health monitoring of its IT estate.
Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport, commented, “At Noida International Airport, our commitment to excellence drives every decision we make. Partnering with Kyndryl allows us to leverage their global expertise and innovative solutions to create a world-class airport that prioritises passenger satisfaction and operational efficiency.”
Lingraju Sawkar, President of Kyndryl India, said, “India’s expanding aviation market is key to improving connectivity, and we are excited to support Noida International Airport in its journey. This collaboration allows us to bring our expertise in technology and sustainability, ensuring the airport is prepared for future growth and success.”
Noida International Airport will offer a modern, user-friendly design, combining Indian hospitality with Swiss technology. Phase one of the airport will feature one terminal and runway, with an annual capacity of 12 million passengers, expanding to 70 million by the end of all development phases.
