Noctua releases chromax.black versions of its NH-U12A and NF-A12x25

Exciting news for PC enthusiasts – Noctua has finally released black versions of the popular NH-12A CPU cooler and NF-12×25 fans. These ‘chromax.black’ products have been highly anticipated and are now available for purchase. Noctua explained that changing the color of a product is no easy task, especially when it involves fine-tuning every detail. The release of these products was also delayed due to pandemic-related issues.

Bit-Tech previously reviewed the Noctua NH-U12A in its traditional brown and cream color scheme, giving it a ‘Bit-Tech Exceptional’ rating. The black version offers the same top-notch cooling performance, quiet operation, and compatibility, but with a sleek all-black design.

Noctua assures users that the latest SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system supports various socket types, including AM4, LGA1200, and now LGA1700. The upcoming AMD AM5 socket will also be compatible with existing cooling mounts.

The Noctua NH-U12A comes with NF-A12x25 fans, and the black version includes the new NF-A12x25 PWM chromax.black.swap models, which are also available for separate purchase.

Noctua’s black NF-A12x25 fans maintain the performance and noise levels of the original product. The NF-A12x25 PWM chromax.black.swap fans come with swappable anti-vibration pads in different colors, allowing for customization to match your build aesthetic. Noctua is also preparing white fans for release in Q1 2022.

In addition to the black products, Noctua has introduced new NA-HC7 and NA-HC8 heatsink covers for the NH-U12A and NH-U12A chromax.black. The NA-HC7 features swappable color inlays in various colors, while the NA-HC8 comes in black or white.

You can purchase all these new chromax products through Noctua’s Amazon web stores, which cater to various regions around the world.
