No more price hikes: Comcast offers five-year Xfinity price guarantee

When choosing an internet provider, it’s important to consider not only the current plans available but also how they may change in the future. To address this concern, Comcast is now offering a five-year price guarantee for its Xfinity internet service, providing customers with peace of mind.

New customers signing up for Xfinity can enjoy a locked-in monthly price for five years without the need for an annual contract. Starting at $55 per month, these plans include unlimited data at home, access to Comcast’s WiFi network, parental controls, cybersecurity protection, and consistent pricing nationwide across the US.

Compared to the $40 per month one-year pricing option currently available, the five-year guarantee may be more suitable for those with long-term plans. Comcast aims to provide transparent and consistent pricing to alleviate customer concerns about internet access costs.

Steve Croney, Chief Operating Officer of Connectivity and Platforms at Comcast, stated, “We’re addressing rising costs and transparency with incredible value and easy-to-understand pricing that is locked in for five years. Our new price guarantee removes complexity, and when our customers also take mobile, they get the nation’s largest converged network, delivering gig speeds wherever they go.”

In addition to the price guarantee, Comcast recently upgraded internet speeds for Xfinity customers, offering speed bumps of up to 100 percent for faster downloads and higher quality streaming. Furthermore, an ultra-low lag capability for FaceTime calls and certain games on Steam is rolling out on Xfinity, benefiting serious gamers.
