Nintendo Switch Online adds Donkey Kong ’94 and Mario’s Picross

Nintendo has announced the addition of more classic games from the Game Boy era to Nintendo Switch Online this week.

The newly added games are Donkey Kong (also known as Donkey Kong ’94) and Mario’s Picross, originally released for the Game Boy in 1994 and 1995 respectively.

Mario’s Picross

Players must use logic to reveal hidden pictures in this puzzle game. With over 250 brain-teasing puzzles of varying difficulty levels, players need to decipher numeric codes to unveil the images before time runs out.

Donkey Kong

In this classic arcade game, players guide Mario through various levels to rescue the damsel in distress. With challenging gameplay and strategic thinking required, players must navigate obstacles and enemies to reach the end.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, introduced in October 2021, offers a new subscription tier that includes classic Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, and Game Boy games as part of Nintendo’s online service.
