New VR Fighting Game From 'Synth Riders' Studio Gets Steam Next Fest Demo Next Week

Kluge Interactive Announces Upcoming VR Fighting Game, FINAL FURY, to be Featured at Steam Next Fest

Kluge Interactive, the studio known for the popular VR rhythm game Synth Riders (2019), has revealed that their new VR fighting game, FINAL FURY, will be showcased at Steam Next Fest on October 14th, including a playable demo for players to try out.

FINAL FURY offers a fast-paced combat experience in a virtual arena, reminiscent of classic arcade fighting games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, but with a unique physical VR gameplay twist.

The demo for FINAL FURY featuring two playable characters, Tempest and Glitch, will be available for download from October 14th to 28th.

After facing challenges during user testing last year, Kluge Interactive took the opportunity to reevaluate and improve the combat controls of the game, focusing on gesture mechanics to enhance the overall gameplay experience.

While the full release date for FINAL FURY on Quest and SteamVR headsets, as well as other platforms, is yet to be confirmed, players can look forward to more playable fighters, arenas, and online PvP multiplayer in the future. The studio has already teased four additional characters beyond Tempest and Glitch.

Following the release of the demo at Steam Next Fest, Kluge Interactive has announced that all future playtests will be open to everyone without the need for sign-ups, allowing more players to experience the game firsthand.
