New M3 iPad Air live blog: Apple’s refreshed Air has more power
Apple Intelligence is a significant technological leap for Apple, but it appears that the upcoming iPad 11 may not incorporate these cutting-edge features. Reports suggest that the device could be equipped with the older T8120 processor, indicating the use of the A16 chipset. While the A16 chipset is powerful, it may not offer the same level of support for Apple Intelligence features found in newer models.
Interestingly, the iPhone 14 Pro, Pro Max, iPhone 15, and 15 Plus all utilize the A16 chipset. While a source, who preferred to remain anonymous, supports this information, it contradicts previous statements made by reputable tech analyst Mark Gurman. Gurman’s track record in predicting Apple’s moves has been quite accurate in the past.
