Nanashi Mumei announces ‘Graduation’ from Hololive

Hololive English member Nanashi Mumei will be ‘graduating’ from hololive next month.
For those who don’t know, in hololive (and other VTuber companies) as well as in the idol industry, members are said to “graduate” when retiring, moving to a new company, or otherwise ending their activities as part of a unit or character.
In this case, Nanashi Mumei will graduate on April 28 after approximately three and a half years with hololive.

Other members of Hololive English have graduated in recent months, including Ceres Fauna and Amelia Watson, on an unrelated note, we recommend you check out Nimi Nightmare and Dooby3D.
Some fans are growing concerned about the recent graduations, recently Cover Corp became a publicly traded entity and fans are concerned that shareholders could possibly be changing the way hololive conducts itself.
It’s unclear if Mumei will continue VTuber activities with a different character. We’ll keep you posted about a possible farewell stream in the coming weeks.
