Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island launches in December

Publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Polygon Treehouse have announced the release date for Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, a new narrative adventure game.

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island is scheduled to launch on December 5th for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the new port for Nintendo Switch.

“Mythwrecked is a game that we hold dear,” said Alex Kanaris-Sotiriou, Creative Director and Lead Developer at Polygon Treehouse. “It’s a project that we’ve poured a lot of effort and passion into, incorporating elements from our previous game Röki. We are thrilled to welcome players to the shores of Ambrosia Island and hope they have an enjoyable experience.”

In Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, players embody the role of backpacker Alex, who finds herself stranded on the enigmatic shores of Ambrosia Island. As she explores her surroundings, she encounters the gods of Greek myth and legend who are unable to recall their identities. To find her way back home, Alex must forge relationships with the inhabitants and aid them in restoring their memories.

Embark on a non-linear adventure inspired by elements of the Ace Attorney franchise and A Short Hike. Dive into the island’s narrative, form bonds with the gods through a unique relationship mechanic, and leverage their divine powers to assist Alex. Solve the mystery of Ambrosia Island, rescue the gods, and guide Alex on her journey home!

• Gods Among Us: Encounter various gods on Ambrosia Island, from Ares to Athena, Hermes to Hades. Utilize the Ambrosidex to locate them, though some may prove more challenging to find.
• Treasure Hunt: Utilize the Ambrosidex’s radar signal to search for lost godly treasures scattered across the island. Return these items to their rightful owners to trigger memories and unveil more about the island’s destiny.
• Conversational Exploration: Investigate the island, inspect objects and locales, and engage in dialogue to unlock new topics. Certain gods may possess knowledge beneficial to Alex’s quest, but some subjects may require earning their trust first.
