Motorola has introduced the newest additions to its foldable phone lineup, the Razr 60 and the Razr 60 Ultra.
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra was a standout foldable phone in 2024, with the Razr 50 offering a more affordable option. Now, how do the Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60 compare to their predecessors and each other?
While our full reviews are in progress, here’s a comparison of Motorola’s 2025 foldables – known as the Razr (2025) and Razr Ultra (2025) in the US.
Design & Build
Both Razr 60 models feature redesigned titanium-reinforced hinges that are more durable than the Razr 50 generation. They also come with enhanced dust and underwater protection (IP48).

Both phones feature LTPO panels, but the Ultra supports higher brightness levels and Dolby Vision, setting it apart from the Razr 60.

The Razr 60 Ultra sports a triple 50MP camera system, including a 50MP selfie camera. The Razr 60, on the other hand, has a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide, and a 32MP selfie camera.
Video capabilities differ between the two models, with the Ultra supporting higher resolutions and Dolby Vision recording and playback.
Performance
The Razr 60 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip with 16GB of RAM, offering flagship-level performance. The Razr 60 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X with 8GB of RAM, providing a more mid-range performance.
Storage options are also different, with the Ultra model offering more storage capacity than the Razr 60.
Software
Both phones run on Android 15 and feature Moto AI, offering various AI-driven features like Catch Me Up and Pay Attention. The Ultra model includes a dedicated AI button for quick access to Moto AI features.
Battery & Charging
The Razr 60 Ultra has a larger battery capacity and supports faster wired and wireless charging compared to the Razr 60.

Both the Razr 60 Ultra and Razr 60 are now available for purchase, with pricing starting from £1,099.99/€1,299 for the Ultra and €799 for the Razr 60.
US and UK pricing and availability details will be updated soon.
