A release date has been set for Monster Train 2, a sequel to the popular deckbuilding roguelite game. Monster Train 2 will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 21st. If you can’t wait, there’s a Debut Demo available on Steam!

The release date trailer for Monster Train 2 introduces us to the Titans, who are threatening to destroy the world. Heaven and Hell must work together to fend off this new enemy and push them back to the Abyss.

Expanding on the original game’s three-floor battle system, players will face the new enemy faction with the help of five playable clans, each with unique advantages and battle styles. New unit abilities can be strategically activated, and there are hundreds of new and familiar cards in the deck, including new card types like Room Cards, Equipment Cards, and Neutral Cards.

Monster Train 2 offers new gameplay modes such as Endless mode, Daily and Dimensional challenges, mutators, leaderboards, and train customizations. The demo includes two of the five new clans and provides a taste of the full game experience.

Monster Train received positive feedback during its Early Access phase in 2020. It offers a unique twist on the card-battling genre and is perfect for players looking for a challenging roguelike experience.
