Exciting news for fans of Monster Train – Monster Train 2 has been announced! This full-sized sequel to the popular deckbuilding roguelite is set to arrive later this year on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. And the best part? A Debut Demo is available today on Steam!

Monster Train 2 will expand on the original game’s three-floor battle system, challenging players to stop the powerful Titans from destroying the world. This time, Heaven and Hell must join forces and venture to the Titans’ homeworld, the Abyss.

New enemy factions await players, along with five playable clans each with unique advantages and battle styles. Players can activate new unit abilities strategically, utilize hundreds of new and familiar cards in their deck, and explore new card types like Room Cards, Equipment Cards, and Neutral Cards.

In addition to the main story mode, Monster Train 2 introduces Endless mode, Daily and Dimensional challenges, mutators, leaderboards, and more. Players can also customize their train for added buffs.

The demo features two of the five new clans – the Banished and the Pyreborne – and offers a taste of the full run experience. While the demo does not include all the new content of the full game, it provides a glimpse into the exciting world of Monster Train 2.

Monster Train received positive feedback during its Early Access phase in 2020, with reviewers praising its polished gameplay and unique take on card-battling. The anticipation for Monster Train 2 is high, and fans can’t wait to dive back into the thrilling world of Hell trains.
