Meghan Markle keeps it monochromatic in Ralph Lauren for emotional 'CBS Sunday Morning' interview

Easy like Sunday morning.

Meghan Markle is known for her chic and simple looks, and the royal stuck with her favored neutral color palette when she opened up to “CBS Sunday Morning’s” Jane Pauley about her past suicidal thoughts and why protecting kids online has become her new passion project.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, wore a linen Ralph Lauren button-up shirt ($890 $620) and matching linen trousers ($1,090 $760) in a blush shade to join husband Prince Harry, 39, on Sunday’s episode of the show.

Markle paired her crisp linen set with a new pair of pointy nude pumps featuring two straps around the ankle, and while her outfit was understated, she added plenty of Cartier pieces to amp up the glam factor.

The duchess wore her go-to gold Cartier Love Bracelet ($7,350) and Princess Diana’s gold tank watch from the luxury jeweler, adding a $13,400 gold Cartier Juste Un Clou necklace she’s been favoring as of late.

Markle also added some sparkle with the same Luna Skye diamond leaf studs ($2,550) she debuted during last year’s Invictus Games.

Last month, the Duchess of Sussex also kept it neutral with her outfit while attending the G9 Ventures Summer Summit in the Hamptons, wearing a sleeveless beige vest by St. Agni ($425 $302) with loose wide-legged trousers.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared on the CBS program to talk about their newly launched project The Parents’ Network, created through their Archewell Foundation and designed to support parents whose kids have been negatively impacted by social media.

Markle told Pauley that her own experiences with online bullying and suicidal thoughts helped inspire the couple to create the program.

Noting that she hadn’t “really scraped the surface on” her own past experiences, the mom of two said she “would never want someone else to feel that way.”

“So, if me voicing what I have overcome will save someone, or encourage someone in their life to really genuinely check in on them and not assume that the appearance is good, so everything’s okay, then that’s worth it. I’ll take a hit for that,” the duchess continued.
