Mecha Break’s upcoming open beta is your best chance to play yet

Mecha Break is an upcoming game that allows players to fulfill their Gundam dreams with a touch of Armored Core elements. The game is about to have an open beta on Steam that is open to everyone. This beta provides a great opportunity to experience the game before its official release, so make sure not to miss out.
The game focuses heavily on customization, allowing players to design their desired mech suits and compete against other players. Apart from components and weapons, players can also choose custom paint colors, creating unique and eye-catching mechs on the battlefield. Players can also customize their avatars, with options like Asuka Langley Soryu and D-Va already available, showcasing the extensive character creator in the game.
Mecha Break had a successful playtest on Steam, increasing the player count from 3,000 to 38,000. The game offers multiple game types, including a 3v3 deathmatch mode, a 6v6 mode resembling a hero shooter, and a PvPvE extraction mode, providing a variety of gameplay experiences.
The fast-paced gameplay and precise controls make maneuvering through the air and avoiding projectiles enjoyable. In the PvPvE mode, players face numerous opponents, requiring constant vigilance and readiness for attacks from all directions.
Sign-ups for the open beta start on February 20, with the beta launching on February 23. While the game can be wishlisted on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation, only PC players can participate in the open beta. Other platforms will have to wait for the official release, which the developers aim to accomplish before the end of 2025.
